- You must be over the age of 18 years and an Australian Resident to use the Australia's Largest Personals Communities service (from here referred to as Service).
- Salmat Interactive PTY LTD are the service providers.
- You must have access to premium 190 numbers to use this service.
- You must only use the service for personal communication and will not engage in or promote any commercial, marketing, data-gathering, research, fundraising or organisational enterprise through the service.
- Duration, Cancellation and Expiry: To register to become a member you must complete the registration process by calling the registration number, helpdesk number, or sending in a coupon to Salmat Interactive. Once this process has been completed you will receive your VMB number (Voice Mail Box number) and personal PIN.
- Your ad will not appear until it has been proofed, and your VMB greeting message has been screened and approved by Salmat Interactive.
- Your voicemail box has an expiry period of 6 weeks, which can be extended. You can cancel your membership at any time by calling the helpdesk line 1300 131 276 during the hours of business 9-5 (AEST) Monday to Friday.
- Salmat Interactive will publish your advertisement as many times as possible during the life of your VMB and you may request further publication by calling the helpdesk line 1300 131 276 during the hours of business 9-5 (AEST) Monday to Friday.
- If you cancel your membership or your membership is terminated based on breach of these terms and conditions, we will not refund any payments made. Salmat Interactive is under no obligation to inform you if your membership is terminated, or your ad or VMB greeting message is edited.
- Membership can only be cancelled once all unread messages have been read.
- To retrieve messages and/or leave messages you must ring the 190 number that corresponds to your VMB. Call costs are as per the advertised rate or a maximum of $2.95 per minute (higher from mobile and payphones) and are subject to change.
- Salmat Interactive screens ads, "Newspaper Profiles" and Voice Greetings. Salmat Interactive reserves the right to edit, reject or refuse an ad, Greeting or Profile if Salmat Interactive reasonably believes it to include inappropriate content, contact details or otherwise breaches these terms and conditions. Please be aware that once a recording has been screened and approved the content is then considered public. Voice Greetings may take up to 24 Business hours to be screened.
- By accepting these terms and conditions you also agree to receive information regarding events and promotional offers provided by Salmat Interactive.
- When registering an ad, we require the advertiser to provide their full name, address, and a contact telephone number.
- A member must record a Voice Greeting. If a voice greeting is not recorded the advertiser will not have access to their messages.
- Salmat Interactive reserves the right to cancel the ad. This means that the ad may not appear.
- Advertisements in the newspapers are limited to character and word length which is subject to change, please call the helpdesk for more information. If an advert is taken and the word limit is exceeded, Salmat Interactive reserves the right to edit the ad.
- Advertisements must be placed by the advertiser.
- The Promoter and companies associated with this promotion, shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of using this service.
- In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right (subject to reference to all relevant state and territory regulations), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this service.

Disclaimers We are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by you or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this service, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of the service including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
Customer Support: Salmat Interactive provides assistance and guidance through its customer support representatives. If we feel that your behaviour towards any of our customer support representatives or other employees is at any time threatening or offensive, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your membership and you will not be entitled to any refund.
You are solely responsible for your interaction with other members. Salmat Interactive reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other Members. You agree that any dispute will be governed by the laws of Australia.
PRIVACY: We will collect personal information about you when you place an ad and register to use this service. The information that we will collect comprises the personal details which you provide to us in connection with your ad and your use of the service. We will use your personal information for the purposes of placing your ad, your registration as a user of the service, your use of the service and any associated purposes. We will disclose your personal information to Salmat Interactive Pty Limited, subcontractors of Salmat Interactive Pty Limited and government or state officials. - You must have the bill payer's permission to use this service.
- You must have access to premium rate services on your mobile phone, if you do not have access please contact your service provider for more details.
- Salmat Interactive reserves the right to refuse, edit or cancel a PersonalsChat nickname if Salmat Interactive reasonably believes it includes inappropriate content, contact details or otherwise breaches these terms and conditions.
- PersonalsChat can only be used to respond to advertisements which hold a PersonalsChat nickname.
- At no point does any other person obtain a member's mobile telephone number or any other personal information unless provided by the member him/herself.
- PersonalsChat registration for both advertisers and browsers is free (standard SMS rates apply).
- PersonalsChat is free for an advertiser (standard SMS rates apply). This includes free PersonalsChat registration and responses.
- A browser is charged $3.50 per message pair to respond to an ad in the newspaper using PersonalsChat.
- If an SMS nickname is no longer valid a charge of $3.50 will still be charged on the 199 75 111 number.
- PersonalsChat subscribers can unsubscribe at any time by sending the word "Stop" to 0428 637 576 or 199 75 111. A user can also unsubscribe at any time by calling Salmat Interactive on the registration or helpdesk number.
- Only 3 chat sessions ("conversations") can be open at any one time. This means that a PersonalsChat user can only chat to 3 people at any given time. A user will be notified by SMS message if a session needs to be closed. To end a session the user must send the word "Exit" to end the oldest chat session or "Exit" followed by a particular nickname to 0428 631 576 or 199 75 111, unless the session expires. A chat session will expire if chat session becomes idle.
- A user can block or disallow responses from another member by sending the word "Block" to 0428 631 576 or 199 75 111.
- A user can temporarily cease receiving messages by sending the word "Away" to 0428 631 576 or 199 75 111. To return to receiving responses again, a member can send the word "Back" to 0428 631 576 or 199 75 111.

Limitation Liability Salmat Interactive can not be liable for the cost for messages sent to PersonalsChat members that are no longer subscribed to the service.
